LINDSEY GUYTON

MA, LCMHC

ANGELA PETTY, LMFT-A

I began supporting children and families in 2012 in my professional role as a Social Worker. I had the opportunity to assist a diverse population of families navigating through life's changes as well as past/present trauma. In 2017, I longed to do more to help families, particularly children experiencing trauma after abuse, neglect, or abandonment. I began working towards my Master's in Education with an emphasis on Mental Health Counseling at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

During my internships I have had the opportunity to serve children, families, and adults in individual, group, and family settings. After obtaining my license in 2020, I served as a School Based Mental Health Counselor assisting children and adolescents. I've learned we all face challenges from time to time. In some of my hardest times, support has gone a long way. Everyone has the ability within them to overcome obstacles. Oftentimes, what we need most is support. My hope is to be that support for you or your family.
