Sometimes things in life go sideways or things happen that knock us off our feet. Sometimes things stop feeling fulfilling or daily activities become more than you can deal with. There are many valid reasons to seek help from a counselor; there is hope and you can feel better. I can sit with you, listen to you, and partner with you as you walk the path you are on.

I have been married for 32 years, and have 5 grown children and 4 grandchildren. I am originally from Arkansas, lived a few years in Texas, and moved to North Carolina about 16 years ago. I received my undergraduate degree in Christian counseling from Manna University and followed that up with studies at the master's level in Marriage, Couples, and Families. My approach to therapy is to help you find solutions, equipping you with tools to manage your life in the current issue and the issues to come later in life. I enjoy using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and with couples I lean towards The Restoration Model and Emotionally Focused Therapies. I enjoy working with teens up through seniors, couples, marriages, and families.
