CHRISTY RIDEOUT

I am a Provisionally Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT-A) who is committed to helping my clients navigate life changes, challenges, and stressors. I have a M.Ed in Marriage & Family Therapy from Liberty University. During my internship at Watters Family Life Center, I worked with couples, individuals, adolescents, and families. I have seen clients who have struggled with numerous situations including infidelity, stage of life issues, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. As I worked with these individuals, I strove to build a therapeutic alliance with my clients. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Prepare/Enrich, and Family Systems.
