SAMANTHA WYLIE

As a counselor, I believe in the importance of incorporating client strengths, culture, and input when developing and adjusting treatment plans. I have found that clients build a stronger therapeutic alliance with their counselor when they are asked to be a part of the treatment planning process through feedback and psychoeducation of theories and interventions. I use an integrated approach when working with clients developed from Person-Centered, CBT, and Strength Based Therapy. My goal for my clients is to provide a safe space to explore and develop necessary tools to succeed in their future objectives.

I love working with clients of all ages and with a variety of concerns. I enjoy working with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Self-Esteem, Communication, and LGBTQ concerns. I see clients in individual, couple, or family settings depending on the client requests and availability.

I hold a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Palo Alto University. I hold an LMFT and LCMHC license in NC and a LMFT and LPC license in the IL.
